A project has been launched to share the charm, healing, and inspiration of this lifestyle with visitors, created by people living in Tama who know the appeal of this way of life.
Located about 30 minutes west of central Tokyo by train, the area around Tachikawa Station, which boasts the second-highest number of passengers after Shinjuku Station along the JR Chuo Line that crosses Tokyo, is one of the most popular cities representing the global city of Tokyo.
With this central area of western Tokyo as the entrance, to the west lies the Chichibu-Tama-Kai National Park, which offers abundant nature that is hard to believe is in Tokyo, and the lives of people who live in harmony with nature.
