Project Introduction
Project Introduction

“We want to convey the true charm of the region and lifestyle to visitors of Tama.”
This is a local guide training project.

This project is the “Guide Human Resource Training and Development Project for Expanding Inbound Tourism in the Tama Region,” utilizing the Tama and Islands Wide-Area Cooperation Activity Grant Program.

The aim is to train paid guides from among the citizens and to help visitors, including tourists from Japan and abroad, to gain a deeper understanding and experience of the western Tokyo/Tama region, thereby creating regional vibrancy and increased visitor traffic, and boosting tourism spending.

We aim to create a sustainable tourist region where the guides who welcome visitors with us can rediscover the charm of their own communities and the surrounding areas, enriching their own lives.
